Sexperts Amy Baldwin, April Lampert to Co-Host XBIZ Honors Retail Edition Ceremony

LOS ANGELES — Amy Baldwin and April Lampert — industry vets of the pleasure products biz and co-hosts of the “Shameless Sex” podcast — have been named the hosts of next month’s inaugural retail edition of the XBIZ Honors ceremony.

Baldwin is a sex and relationship coach trained in both the Somatica and Hakomi Method, a certified sex educator, and lead educator for Uberlube, as well as co-owner of a mother-daughter owned online pleasure boutique called Pure Pleasure Shop.

“April and I have been in the sex toy industry for over 10 years now, and it has been a pleasure to develop close bonds with our industry friends — many whom we consider our family,” Baldwin said. “It is such an honor to be hosting the awards show, celebrating the people we love alongside my best friend and business-partner-in-crime.”

Lampert has been educating people about sexual pleasure, health and wellness at a global scale for the past 11 years. She travels internationally as VP of London-based innovative pleasure product company, Hot Octopuss. Lampert won the first-ever WIA Woman of the Year in 2017 during the XBIZ Exec Awards, and continues to climb to new heights as the empowered woman that she is.

“It’s an absolute honor to be hosting the XBIZ Honors awards show this year with my partner in shameless crime, Amy,” Lampert said. “Celebrating our industry family who all work so incredibly hard to bring pleasure and orgasms to all is not only an honor but an amazing privilege. It’s the few who truly affect the many and being able to recognize our esteemed industry friends who dedicate their lives to the business of sex has us teeming with excitement. Amy and I cannot wait to shower our industry friends with praise, trophies, and our shameless love.”

Together, Baldwin and Lampert have combined forces to create the Shameless Sex Podcast, inspiring radical self-love, sexual empowerment, and shame-free intimacy. Shameless Sex is unabashed real talk about sexuality with a playful twist.

The duo will bring their sex-positive energy to the XBIZ Honors stage on January 15. Being held at the W Hotel in Hollywood, California, XBIZ Honors will recognize the winners of the 2020 XBIZ Exec Awards alongside the winning companies and brands of select XBIZ Awards adult retail and pleasure product categories. The show kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

“Amy and April as individuals exude the professionalism and enthusiasm for this industry that has made them each a force to be reckoned with — together, they are the ultimate sex-positive duo,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez said. “We couldn’t be more thrilled than to have them serve as the hosts of our inaugural XBIZ Honors awards show.”
