Emojibator to Showcase New Items at Sex Expo NY

NEW YORK — Emojibator will be returning to Sex Expo NY this year to showcase its collection of vegetable- and fruit-shaped vibrators, including the Eggplant Emojibator, the Chile Pepper Emojibator and the Banana Emojibator.

Sex Expo, presented by premier cam network Chaturbate, will be held the weekend of Sept. 22-23 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. The two-day event will feature showcases from top pleasure product manufacturers, workshops hosted by The Pleasure Chest and a wide variety of educators and sexual wellness experts.

“We’re so excited for Sex Expo,” said Joe Vela, who co-founded the Philadelphia-based Emojibator with Chief Marketing Officer Kristin Fretz in 2016. “It’s one of our favorite events of the year because we get to interact with a ton of consumers at a fast pace. It’s extremely rewarding and insightful — and exhausting, too.”

Vela added, “We believe this is one of our most highly targeted events, and we do a lot of on-site sales. We’ll be demoing and selling our holy trinity of Emoji vibrators — the Eggplant, the Banana and the Chili Pepper — as well as some of our other favorite products like the glittery Unicorn and Pepperoni Pizza Pasties. We’ll also have our brand-new enamel pins, which feature our very own adorable Emojibator characters.”

Vela, Fretz and Janice Payne, Emojibator’s director of marketing, will all be attending Sex Expo New York 2018, according to Vela.

“I’ll be roaming around all weekend, meeting with other businesses and scouting new products — while Kristin, CMO and a Brooklyn local, will be holding down the booth with our director of marketing, Janice Payne, and some other amazing staff,” Vela said. “We’re excited to be back at the Greenpoint location. As a cultural, creative and even sexual melting pot, Brooklyn is the perfect place for a Sex Expo.”

Fretz said, “We love the Sex Expo because we get to show thousands of new and friendly faces how they can laugh more about sex and masturbation with our emoji-inspired vibrators. The shock-and-awe reactions we get from people walking by our booth creates an immediate bond because they simply get it. Our brand’s goal is to make sexuality and masturbation more celebrated by society, and that starts with the conversations and genuine compassion we get to spread at Brooklyn Sex Expo.”

The Brooklyn Expo Center is located at 72 Noble St. in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint area and is within walking distance of the MTA’s Greenpoint Ave. subway station, which is served by the G Train.
