Tom Daley Voted Hottest Olympian in Squirt.org Survey

TORONTO — With the Olympics set to begin in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this week, Squirt.org’s member survey voted British swimmer Tom Daley #1 Hottest Olympian. The new poll taken by the gay hookup site also showed that 65 percent of their members are specifically excited to see Rugby’s return after a 92-year absence from the Olympics.

Thousands of Squirt.org members were surveyed, and 61 percent of them said they become more aroused from watching sports. Almost 75 percent reported they would watch the Olympics with a keen eye toward swimming and diving, perhaps because of the swimsuits.

“With so many talented and great-looking athletes participating in the Olympics, our members are definitely looking forward to watching,” said Attila Szatmari, digital business director for Pink Triangle Press, Squirt.org’s parent company. “The appeal is in the passion to succeed by these athletes as well as their charisma and sex appeal, (which) overcomes all boundaries, ethnicities and cultures. A great champion athlete with an amazing physique will always be in high regard, especially with our members.”

Although a majority of Squirt.org members said they would watch the games on television, only 1 percent said they would actually go to Rio de Janeiro to see the Olympics in person.

“It’s not often that so many world-class athletes get together like this; so our sex-positive community on Squirt.org is especially excited at the prospect,” Szatmari said. “Not surprisingly, 65 percent of our members polled said they’re looking forward to the return of rugby to the games — a great tribute to the amazingly buff rugby players.”

The Spring Olympics of 2015 brought more than 83 million viewers, according to Statista.com.

This year, the networks and digital platforms of NBC Universal will present an unprecedented 6755 hours of programming for the Olympic Games and will run across 11 major networks. That is roughly 356 hours of coverage per day for 19 days. If the 6755 hours ran on one channel, it would take 281 days to finish airing.

Bob Costas will again anchor NBC’s prime-time coverage, while Ryan Seacrest will host the network’s late night programming.

Squirt.org, based in Toronto, was established in 1999.
