Entrenue Hosts ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Display Contest

PHOENIX – Entrenue is in the midst of its first-ever “Fifty Shades of Grey” contest, which invites adult stores across the country to get creative and make the best Fifty Shades of Grey displays they can imagine.

Entries must be emailed to graphics@entrenue.com by Jan. 30, with a high-res image of each display. Contest prizes include a copy of the original “Fifty Shades of Grey” signed by author E.L. James herself.

Using the famous erotic novels as inspiration, each entry must feature the “Fifty Shades of Grey” books among intimate items inspired by the pages of the sensational series. Entries will be judged by Entrenue staff and notified via phone after Feb. 2, with a collection of prizes provided by Lovehoney, the creators of the Official Fifty Shades of Grey line.

“This is the very first time we’ve put a contest like this together and we can’t wait to how inventive our customers can get,” Entrenue President Joe Casella said. “We wanted to see how stores are taking advantage of the growing hype around the ‘Fifty Shades’ movie and figured this contest would be a great way to get more product out on shelves and into shoppers’ hands. The romantic sales season is one of the industry’s biggest events of the year and we hope this contest helps get our customers into an even sexier spirit!”

The grand prize winner will receive a “Fifty Shades of Grey” hardcover book and Fifty Shades of Grey Tie both signed by E.L. James, a wholesale product credit, an image of the winning display and store name on Entrenue’s homepage, and free movie tickets for the entire store’s staff to see “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Retailers can take advantage of Entrenue’s FSOG Official Line Retailer Kit, available for free to all stores that carry the product collection. This kit includes a show card with stand, two posters, two shelf wobblers, two shelf talkers, five buttons, one Do Not Disturb sign, one window cling, and a three-piece slatwall header all in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” color scheme.

The contest comes in time for the debut of six new luxury items now part of the Official Fifty Shades of Grey pleasure toy collection, which includes rabbit vibes, massagers, a remote-control egg, and kegel balls made of premium silicone in grey-tone colors.

Email your entries to graphics@entrenue.com, or for more information, call (800) 368-7268.
