Bijou Video has released remastered classic video “Gotta Have It” on DVD. The movie is the latest title that has been transferred to disc, from more than 1,000 classic videos in the Bijou catalog.
Gay production company Backroom Films will host a red carpet premiere event for its debut release, “House of Leather,” at the Bijou Theater in Chicago. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 23, with a reception at 7 p.m., followed by the movie screening at 7:30.
The Bijou Theater will host a series of special presentations showcasing the work of ‘80s gay superstar performers Rex Chandler, Steve Hammond, Ryan Idol and Jeff Stryker for its Spotlight series, to be held May 12-14.
Adult theater venue The Bijou Theater has made an agreement with gay studio Raging Stallion to screen titles from the company’s catalog as part of their weekly theater schedule.
Distributor/retailer Bijou Video has released five gay vintage titles, directed by Lee Stern. The movies have been remastered and repackaged by Bijou, and are available for the first time on DVD.
Legendary gay distributor Bijou Video has rereleased 1972’s “American Cream” from its catalog of Hand in Hand Films. Originally shot on film, the title's sound and images have been completely remastered and digitized, offering a rare glimpse of vintage content from the early history of modern gay adult cinema. <p>
