Women Claim Playboy Used Them in Sex Videos When They Were Minors

ORLANDO, Fla. — Two women have filed a class-action lawsuit against Playboy, claiming the adult giant knowingly videotaped and distributed sexually explicit tapes of them when they were 16 and 17 years old.

According to the U.S. District Court filing obtained by XBiz, the pair say Playboy produced “Playboy Exposed: Best of Spring Break” and “Playboy Exposed: Greatest Moments,” featuring them and other minors in 2001. They also claim Playboy videotaped them without their consent.

After being informed of the presence of minors, Playboy allegedly removed the image of only one minor and re-released the tapes, knowing they contained other images of minors, the suit alleges. The women say this constitutes child pornography.

Suing for themselves and others similarly situated, the women claim they were surreptitiously filmed by the pool of a Florida motel and induced to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of incorporating the footage into videos and pay-per-view websites.

The suit also says Anheuser-Busch cooperated in making the videos to promote its beer on a Bud Lite “Spring Break Party Fever” advertising campaign. The beer maker is also named in the suit and is charged with providing alcohol to the teens to encourage them to perform.

The pair filed the class-action suit under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and seek unspecified damages.
