Traffic Analysis Tool T3Report Launches

AUSTIN, Texas — Long-lauded traffic analysis tool T3Report officially launched Wednesday after seven months of development, creator Brandon Shalton told XBiz.

The new tool, located at T3Report.com, draws from a database of over 90 million unique adult URLs to create two-tiered analyses of traffic for specific websites.

“This is really a unique product,” said Shalton. “It’s something that people haven’t seen before. It really puts a big spotlight on traffic and all of the linking relationships between sites.”

T3Report users submit a domain name and then a report is generated that lists every other domain that connects to the submitted domain, along with statistics that list the number of links each connecting domain contributes to the submitted domain, the number of links pointing to each connecting domain and the number of external links that belong to each connecting domain, along with a bevy of other statistics.

The turn-around time on each report is about three to four days, according to Shalton, primarily because it has to reflect information that is both up-to-date and relevant to adult webmasters.

“We don’t just grab a snapshot from the data,” said Shalton. “We go back and verify the links to make sure that they’re still active and alive. We want to give people the best data we can.”

The T3Report website also features a sample database look-up to not only see how many links are recorded in the tool’s database, but also to compare it with sample results from both Google.com and Alexa.com’s search engines.

“Sometimes we have people who look at the results and say, ‘Well, how’s this any different than Alexa or Google,” said Shalton. “This is our way of saying, ‘give it a try.’”

The results seem to match up with Shalton’s challenge. A sample search for "XBiz.com" on the T3Report database found 2768 linking pages. Alexa’s search found 752 and Google only listed 281.

“You can compare it and, in 99 percent of instances, Alexa and Google both have less links,” Shalton said.

Additional features are already being implemented into the newly launched program, according to Shalton, including one that will allow keyword filtering.

According to Shalton, the new tool may help answer the question of how to take adult traffic and bring it to mainstream sites or how to take mainstream traffic and send it to adult sites. He has already received inquiries from mainstream companies, he said.

Report costs range from $100 to $200 for individual reports and $499 to $999 a year for T3Report’s monthly subscription service.
