Director Armstrong Hits Century Mark

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Performer/director Brad Armstrong hits a milestone with the Sept. 30 release of "Fallen," the 100th production he has directed for Wicked Pictures.

Armstrong has been a versatile director, with comedies, contemporary and costume dramas, staged all-sex videos and gonzo-style reality pieces to his credit. His lengthy list of titles includes "Dream Quest," 'Euphoria," Falling From Grace," "Dangerous Tides," seven "Wicked Sex Party" volumes, "The Collector," "Eternity," "Flashpoint," "Manhunters," "Coming Home" and "The Craving."

"This movie is very special to me, not only because it's a great movie, probably one of the best I've ever done, but because it's the 'Big 100,'" Armstrong said. "Who knew when I started directing for Wicked that I'd be here some 14 years later, and that I'd reach this plateau?

"It's been an honor to work with [Wicked Pictures owner and president] Steve Orenstein for all these years, and to have the total creative control that he has allowed," the director added.

Orenstein is pleased with Armstrong's contribution to the company.

"Brad has been a major creative force within the company for well over a decade," Orenstein said. "I don't believe there has been another director who consistently delivers the quality and quantity that he does. He has his big blockbusters like 'Manhunters,' 'The Craving' and 'Coming Home' that he gets most of his recognition from, but he has been shooting 10 movies a year for us that all deserve accolades."

"Fallen" is a gothic fantasy starring Wicked Pictures contract performer Jessica Drake as a Gregorian angel who is stripped of her wings and exiled to Earth after the young woman she was assigned to protect is killed in a freak accident.

"Angel is trapped in a purgatory of sorts, somewhere between human and the immortal she once was, touring the earth's seedy underworld," Armstrong said. "And so it goes, until she meets a handsome stranger who changes her life."

"Fallen" also stars Armstrong and Wicked Pictures contract performers Alektra Blue and Randy Spears. Jenna Haze, Ryder Skye, Angie Savage, Shyla Stylez, Jada Fire, Gianna Lynn, Jennifer Dark, Jenaveve Jolie, Michelle McClaren, Eric Masterson, Derrick Pierce, Barrett Blade and Barry Scott are also featured.
