Hush Hush Entertainment Inks Michael Stefano

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Performer/director Michael Stefano is the latest edition to Hush Hush Entertainment’s directorial roster. Stefano struck a deal with Hush Hush owner Andrew S that calls for him to direct one movie per month.

Stefano launched his directing career in the adult entertainment industry with Extreme Associates in the mid-1990s under the name Luciano. He’s directed more than 100 titles and was most recently directing movies for Red Light District and it’s sister studios, Platinum X Pictures (which he helped launch) and The Candy Shop.

The titles Stefano directed for RLD will continue to be distributed by the company.

“We are thrilled to add Michael to our team,” Andrew S said. “We were looking to mix it up and know when we are presented with talent. We are well known for our quality interracial product and Mike really brings a whole new dynamic with his black girl/white guy interracial lines. All of his titles show a certain passion that is unique to him. He has this ability to bring out higher levels of performance from each and every girl he works with.”

Stefano will release his first title, “Black Girl Addiction,” through Hush Hush in April.

“I am really happy to be part of the Hush Hush family,” Stefano said. “They are growing by leaps and bounds, which is exciting. I have been working on some really great new lines and can’t wait to get them out there. I also signed an Internet deal with Hush Hush, which complements the DVD deal. That was very important to me. I can reach an even broader fan base.”

Shane’s World Vice President of Sales Megan Stokes told XBIZ that all the movies Stefano owns the rights to are currently being built into websites that will reside on the Hush Money network. Stokes said that Stefano’s sites also are tentatively scheduled to be added to HushPass.com, a portal that gives the subscriber full access to the entire Hush Money site network.

Shane’s World purchased Hush Hush in December and all of Stefano’s titles will be distributed through Shane’s World. To order, call Stokes at (888) SW-RULES.
