New Mainstream Cable Series Calls on Adult Talent

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult performers Gianna Michaels, Dane Cross and Sophie Dee will appear on the new weekly cable drama "Look."

“Look” began its life as a 2007 feature film from writer/director Adam Rifkin. The movie's narrative is built on a series of dramatically shot surveillance clips.

“The average American is captured on surveillance camera more than 200 times a day,” Rifkin said. “That's what the movie explored. The television series picks up where the movie left off.”

Performers Sophie Dee and Gianna Michaels will also appear on the series, which will air in eight installments.

Rifkin told XBIZ that Dee and Michaels appear in a scene together.

“They play two sexy girls at the mall that these security guards are drooling over,” he said.

Cross said that a friendship with Rifkin led to his appearance on the upcoming program.

“I gave [Rifkin] a copy of the 'Office' parody and we got to talking," Cross said, referring to New Sensations' recent spoof of the NBC series. "The next thing I know he offered me a role on his new series.”

Rifkin confirmed in an online interview that the series is indeed in production. Representatives for Cross and Dee both said that the show will air on cable channel Showtime, though Rifkin declined to confirm that fact.
