Standard Innovation Execs to Speak at CES

NEW YORK — Technology and sexual health will merge at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) as executives from Standard Innovation, makers of the We-Vibe, will present on how science is enhancing sex and intimacy in the new millennium.

According to the company, Standard Innovation’s participation marks the first time a sexual health company has been asked to speak at the technology mega-conference, taking place Jan. 8-11 in Las Vegas.

Each executive from the Canadian-based company will touch on a different facet of how technology is reshaping the future of sexual health and wellness:
• Sex Never Gets Old Panel, CEO Danny Osadca, Jan. 8 at 11:05-11:35 a.m., Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), North Hall N256
• Sex in Digital Times Keynote, Director of Business Development, Kendra Novick, Jan. 9 at 2:30-2:55 p.m., LVCC, North Hall N256
• Science Meets Sexuality Keynote, Vice President of Product Development, Grant Bechthold, Jan. 10 at 2:10-2:35 p.m., LVCC, North Hall N250

In addition to speaking, the company’s latest product, The Thrill by We-Vibe was recognized by a panel of veteran technology journalists as a semi-finalist in the Last Gadget Standing, another CES first. The annual competition highlights top products that will endure as the digital world continues to change. The Thrill, which was just launched this fall, adapts the unique, “c-shape” ergonomic design of the original We-Vibe couples product for solo play.

“The product was developed based on customer feedback and consumer demand: a recent poll by ICR Survey of women ages 18 to 60 years shows that nearly one in four American women want a bigger ‘thrill’ in bed,” the company said.

“We are honored to have such a strong presence at CES this year. Our goal is to apply the same high-level thinking and processes found in traditional consumer electronics to advance the future of sexual health,” said CEO Danny Osadca. “By creating safe, non-intimidating and quality products, we offer an unmatched user experience — a critical factor to success, particularly in this industry.”

We-Vibe will be in booth 26530, South Hall 2, on the CES floor.
