SAN JOSE, Calif. — Swedish designer brand has announced the issuance of U.S. design patent No. D665094 for its Tiani 2 couples’ massager.

Effective immediately, the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s design patent covers the visual appearance of the Tiani product. The patent prohibits the production, copying and importation of all products with a similar design, without the express consent, permission or license from LELO.

Tiani is the 2012 winner of the Red Dot Design Award. Worn by women during sex, Tiani features SenseMotion technology, and is the first remote-controlled couple’s massager to respond to motion-sensors, where vibrations are created through movements of the remote.

On being issued the USPTO patent, Donna Faro, U.S. sales and marketing Director said: “The issuance of the latest patent for the Tiani Couples’ Massager further cements our position as a genuine innovator in our field, confirming the originality of the design and the core achievement that is SenseMotion technology.
