The teaser ran on all the TVs surrounding the entrance to the Adult Entertainment Expo's main floor, as well as at the Digital Playground booth during the show. The new teaser shows a pirate ship sailing through a thunderstorm, a skeleton at the helm. It's one of hundreds of special effects shots in the upcoming movie.

"Pirates II" director Joone told XBIZ that the increased number of effects in the sequel is in response to the success of the original.

"When people saw the first 'Pirates,' they didn't know what to expect," he said. "There was a certain level of quality. With the second one, it's important to get the same level of escalation -- to try and make it a lot better than the first one."
