XBIZ EU 2014 Seminar Speakers Announced

LONDON — XBIZ is pleased to announce the official seminar speaker line-up for the 2014 XBIZ EU international digital media conference.

The XBIZ EU international digital media conference is set to draw leading U.K., European and American industry players Sept. 25-28 for three days of education, networking and business opportunities.

Presented by NETbilling, XBIZ EU seminars will cover a variety of hot-button issues such as age verification and censorship as well as market trend topics covering live cams and e-dating, mobile, e-billing and traffic.

In addition, the conference will feature a special keynote from JT, aka “The YouPorn Guy,” who’s best known for his portfolio of paysites marketed under the ReallyUsefulCash brand. JT's keynote is slated for Friday, Sept. 26, at 3 p.m.

The event will once again host two Speed Networking sessions sponsored by Mobidea, which start at 10 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26-27.

On Friday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. the "Age Verification" panel will kick the XBIZ EU seminar schedule off. Participants to that session include Chris Ratcliff of TVX, Rob Johnson of Telecom2, Rasmus Groth of Veridu, Michael Post of Intelligent ID, Vince Charlton of ASACP and Stephen Winyard of ICM Registry. Jerry Barnett of Sex & Censorship will moderate the seminar.

"E-billing," slated for 2 p.m. on Friday, will comprise panelists Mitch Farber of NETbilling, Frank Gannon of Epoch, Gary Jackson of CCBill and Chris Rodgers of Payze.  

The "Interactive: Integrating Live Cams & e-Dating" panel on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 1 p.m. will comprise speakers Douglas Richter of Xcams, Gary Taylor of WhiteLabelDating, Bryce Wagshul of FriendFinder Networks and Will Bush of the HUB People. The session will be moderated by Judy Shalom of Adamo Advertising.

The "Mobile Panel" session at 2 p.m. on Saturday will include as panelists Alex Lecompte of StarEdition, Julia Dimambro of CherrySauce and Sebastian of AdultModa.       

Later, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, the "Sex & Censorship" panel will discuss the battle over free speech in the U.K. and comprise attorney Myles Jackman, Jerry Barnett of Sex & Censorship, Ben Yates, Jim Killock of Open Rights Group and Itziar Bilbao Urrutia, the operator of UC-SC-Femdom.com, aka "Urban Chick Supremacy Cell," who earned a reprieve from communications regulator Ofcom, which ruled against ATVOD in its case against the blog site. The panel will be moderated by Don Parret, editorial director of XBIZ.

The final seminar session, on Saturday at 4 p.m., is "Traffic: Tapping Adult-Friendly Ad Networks," which will feature as panelists Jay of JuicyAds, Judy Shalom of Adamo Advertising and Kalyn Sanders of FriendFinder Networks. Kenny of Paysite Partners is moderating the session.  

This year, XBIZ EU has teamed with Jerry Barnett, one of the U.K.’s most influential advocates for the adult entertainment industry and founder of the organization, Sex & Censorship. With the collaboration, XBIZ EU is hosting “The London Underground Party” on Friday, Sept. 26, which will feature the UKAP Awards and a Sex & Censorship fundraiser.

Other XBIZ EU special events include a Presidential Suite Party to kick off the conference, as well as a Happy Hour Grand Union Party, sponsored by JuicyAds, and Spearmint Rhino featuring a wet T-shirt contest on the final night of XBIZ EU.

XBIZ EU’s venue, the Hilton London Metropole Hotel, is located just blocks from Paddington Station — the terminal offering a quick, 15-minute transportation solution to and from the airport via the Heathrow Express.

The Hilton London Metropole Hotel, located in Central London just minutes from Oxford Street and Marble Arch, will set the scene for the most extensive conference program since its inception four years ago.
