“For a while now All Boys Distribution has been selling our DVDs to the American market and we’re extremely happy with the way sales have been increasing dramatically in a very short timeframe,” OTB Operations manager Andreas Müller, who also is general manager of the new venture. “We’ve been working very closely with Rob Ragan, CEO of All Boys in the U.S., and found that we hit it off like a house on fire.

“That’s why we decided to bring the successful All Boys concept to the European market,” Müller added. “It’s a match made in heaven: We can offer the European market a wide range of very attractive titles, because next to our own OTB Video label, we are privileged to carry some fantastic U.S. labels, brought to Europe exclusively through All Boys. Of course, we are also offering some successful European labels and we will continue to expand our product portfolio constantly.”

All Boys will represent its roster of U.S. studios in Europe, including Boykakke Films, Hot Desert Knights, the CruisingForSex.com DVD line and San Diego Boy Productions. European lines including Sk8erboy, XXX-Project and Rent Boy will round out the European catalog.

The new venture has also been branded with the color green on its website and promotional materials to represent a “fresh” new way of distribution for the Euro market. It also is a departure from the All Boys U.S. branding that will remain in the color blue.

Price structuring will allow resellers to determine volume discounts, depending on the size of the order is placed and whether it is paid for up-front. All Boys also will offer free shipping throughout Europe from its warehouse in Amsterdam.

The company will make its first trade show appearance at the Venus Berlin tradeshow, to be held in Berlin, in October. Another first at the Berlin show: OTB Video has worked extensively with show organizers to create gay industry area on the show floor, where several gay adult businesses and producers will host booths.

“We’re making high-quality U.S. products available to the European market at good prices and with a fantastic level of service,” Müller added. “We can do the same thing for European labels in the States as well — due to our close ties with our American colleagues, we can offer European studios a real perspective to conquer the U.S. marketplace.”
