U.K. Playboy Model April Summers Most Searched on Google+

LONDON — British Playboy covergirl and centerfold April Summers has grabbed the top spot on the Google+ list of most followed people, vaulting her to the second most popular person in Europe.

This may come as no surprise, as in contrast to Facebook that is used mostly by women, Google+ is man’s territory according to WebsiteMonitoring.com that reported guys make up two thirds of the multi-lingual social network.

Google’s latest figures show that the 25 year-old model and actress has 2,467,102 people in her circle, toppling popular DJ Paul Oakenfold.

"The time has come. I have finally beaten DJ Paul Oakenfold and now hold the number 1 spot of most popular British person on Google + which also make me 2nd most popular person in Europe,” Summers said.

Summers was crowned U.K.’s Playboy Playmate in April 2010. Her first Playboy appearance was in the gold issue of Playboy France in Sept. 2010 where she posed for a 12-page spread (including the centerfold) and just three months later she was named Playboy Playmate for the first ever limited edition of Playboy Italy in Dec. 2010.

According to her Google+ profile, the model also appeared in Playboy Hungary's Gold Issue, Playboy Lithuania, Playboy Poland, Playboy Spain, Playboy Macedonia, Playboy Argentina, Playboy Slovenia, Playboy Thailand, Playboy Slovakia and Playboy Mexico.

She was also recently named a featured International Playboy Playmate for Playboy in the U.S.
