SAN FRANCISCO — Former Marine Dia “Iron Maiden” Zerva upset Ariel “The Assassin” X this week in the Second Semifinal on girl/girl wrestling site UltimateSurrender.com's Summer Vengeance tournament. She will now go on to compete against Syd “The Hungarian Nightmare” Blakovich for the Season 5 championship title.

Zerva spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and has trained in dancing and judo.

“It was a good match,” UltimateSurrender.com creator Matt Williams said. “At the end, there were two minutes to go … it looked like Ariel was just going to cash-in, but Dia dug deep somewhere and came up with reserves, and held Ariel off.”
