LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment, in collaboration with production company ClubJenna, has released “Burn,” starring adult superstar Jenna Jameson and directed by veteran director Paul Thomas. The feature title, which was shot on film, will hit stores on Aug. 27.

“Pre-orders on this one are through the roof,” Vivid’s David Peskin told XBIZ. “This is the last Jenna Jameson title shot on film, from the team that made ‘The Devil and Miss Jones’ and ‘The Masseuse.’

“There’s bondage in this title,” Peskin said. “’The Masseuse’ and ‘DMJ’ are still two of our best-selling titles and I’m sure that every retailer and distributor would agree that they are. I’m sure that ‘Burn,’ will do just as well. I’ll definitely go on the record to say that.”

According to Peskin, the first printing of the DVD is almost sold out.

The DVD comes packaged in a first-run collector’s limited edition, specially designed boxcover shaped like a book of matches, complete with a carbon strip.

The plot revolves around a boss-secretary relationship between Jameson and co-star Justin Sterling that evolves into a BDSM affair, and eventually involves Jameson’s girlfriend, played by Stephanie Swift.

The cast also includes Cytherea, Justine Joli, Lauren Phoenix, Taylor Rain, Nina Hartley, Natasha Sweet, Mr. Marcus, Evan Stone and Julian.

“It’ll be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year,” Peskin added.
