Webmaster Access Europe Kicks Off With a Bang

AMSTERDAM – Attendees from around the globe have packed the Radisson SAS for Day 1 of Webmaster Access Europe, taking place Sept. 25-27. This marks the first year the show is being held at an exclusive venue.

Jetlagged but raring to go, many attendees arrived at the hotel Thursday only to toss their stuff in their rooms and immediately jet to Club Rain in Rembrandt Square, where sponsors Bound Gods (Kink.com's latest site launch), Buddy Profits, DickyDollars and NakedSword welcomed everyone with drinks and trance beats.

Day 1 kicked off with a bang with a key "Choose Your Content Wisely" seminar panel discussing the importance of promoting and creating content that will last the stands of time, followed by targeted networking power hours and a delicious buffet lunch sponsored by Webair.

In between meetings and business deals, other attendees found time to walk the city and see the key sights Amsterdam has to offer, including the Anne Frank house and the Vincent Van Gogh museum, where Braincash Pat said he was able to truly appreciate the art after seeing the museum for the first time at last year's show.

Cocktail hour began at 6 p.m., where dinner- and party-goers caught a quick Heineken before heading to private events, including Webair's Supper Club dinner. Webair's Gerard told XBIZ he is thinking about making the dinner an annual event.

Most concluded that part of the night at Mercanti Club, where Freeones, PayServe and VSXBill hosted a crazy bash complete with giant screens showcasing companies' latest content.

After the club closed, however, webmasters, company owners and other industry vets from around the world were free to do whatever they pleased. XBIZ is sure they all chose wisely!
