Pure Play Going Nationwide to Visit D2R Clients

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Pure Play Media national sales manager Bill Rix will be hitting the road to visit all new retail accounts set up by its recent switch to direct-to-retail (D2R) distribution.

Pure Play Media begins this new phase, making direct-to-retail a literal statement, with Rix traveling coast-to-coast in a full-scale outreach to retailers.

As national sales manager, Rix’s duties now include nationwide travel, the retailer contest for a 2008 Chevy Malibu Hybrid and the Homegrown Special, featuring the leading titles from the studio of the month, Homegrown Video.

“Having Bill Rix intricately involved in maintaining and fostering relationships with the many retailers nationwide is one of the many added benefits of our D2R distribution,” Pure Play Media CEO Richard Arnold said. “This type of outreach will yield happy store owners, knowing we can deliver custom orders with plenty of personal attention to their needs.”

Rix said that he is ready and excited to take it to the streets and meet with retailers who have just added the service.

“I look forward to getting out there and meeting all of the new clients we’ve picked up recently, as well as the ones who have provided so much support previously,” Rix said. “This will give us a chance to be proactive and work with our retail partners to help sell our outstanding product lines to the consumer. One of the trips I can’t wait to make is the one to give away a Chevy Malibu to one lucky retailer.”
