NEW YORK — Warner Music Group found itself at the center of a porn snafu last week when the company’s Ryko distribution arm unwittingly listed Johnny Legend's '70s adult film "Teenage Cruisers" for sale online.

The listing was spotted by staff from the New York Post, who alerted the record label of the error and reported in the publication’s Page Six column. According to the Post, WMG yanked the title as soon as the newspaper notified the company.

"Ryko will undertake a review of all third-party titles it distributes and take any appropriate action,” A WMG representative told the Post.

Johnny Legend wrote, directed and stars in the film. The soundtrack was produced by Rockin' Ronny Weiser, and features Alvis Wayne, Billy Zoom, Ray Campi, Chuck Higgins and Jack Cochran.

The news marks the second time in a week the classic adult rock ‘n’ roll film has garnered mainstream attention.

Last week, as XBIZ reported , the film screened at Los Angeles’ Silent Movie Theatre.

"This film is a true classic, in every sense of the word,” adult industry veteran Bill Margold — who performed in the film — told XBIZ. “It incorporates a lot of legends, including Cassidy, Serena and John C. Holmes.”
