LOS ANGELES — Galaxy publicity owner and adult industry insider James Bartholet will be conducting an acting workshop Sunday, June 29, at 1 p.m. geared toward adult performers who want to sharpen their acting skills.
Taking place in West Hollywood, the one-day workshop will cover the basics of acting and improvisations with on-camera taping. The cost of the workshop is $50.
“We’ve had a good response from our previous workshop, and with many features being shot, and performers wanting to make that transition into mainstream, this will be a great workshop for them to take,” Bartholet said. “We will go over scene study, character development, improvisation skills, and we will tape a scene that the students pick from a mainstream film, television, or stage production so they can have a tape of themselves [performing] a mainstream scene.”
Bartholet has years of experience in acting and directing in the mainstream industry, and acts in many adult features. He recently completed filming on X Play and Adam & Eve’s production of “Not Bewitched XXX” and X Play and Hustler’s “This Ain’t the Partridge Family XXX.”
Bartholet has received several acting awards and nominations and has performed in various stage productions from coast to coast, as well as television and films, and performed sketch comedy at The Comedy Store.
