NEW YORK — Hustler Video’s aggressive promotion of its political parody DVD "Gov Love: The Eliot Splitz-Her Story" came to Manhattan with an image of the video cover electronically shown on the world's largest digital billboard, on Times Square, which is seen by more than 1.5 million people per day.

The DVD cover was displayed with a tagline stating, “Hustler Video Spoofs Spitzer Scandal With the Release of Gov Love.”

“The demand for this title has been overwhelming,” Hustler Video National Sales Manager David Diamond said. “The Spitzer scandal is still making headlines, and we were lucky to be able to release this parody DVD in a timely fashion. Everyone wants to see it.”

Directed by Stuart Canterbury, "Gov Love: The Eliot Splitz-Her Story" features Mike Horner, Cassandra Cruz, Veronica Jett, Dino Bravo, Kayla Paige, Marcus London, Angela Stone, Van Damage, Emma Heart and Kissy Kapri.

Hustler founder Larry Flynt has said, “This movie parody is an example of one of the reasons I went to the Supreme Court in 1988 — to make parody protected speech.”

The trailer for "Gov Love: The Eliot Splitz-Her Story" can be seen here, and the DVD is available at retailers now.
