Daring’s Director Kendo Talks About Art of ‘Bondage Thoughts’
“Bondage Thoughts is an expression of creativity, primarily concerned with human culture and the darker side hidden within all of us,” the director said.
“The release is a completely nonviolent fetish film — almost as much about the erotic costumes, sensuous lighting and unusual camera angles than it is about bondage,” Kendo said. “The sex in ‘Bondage Thoughts’ is intense, purposeful, artsy and stimulating. It’s not aggressive or forceful in any way; instead, the new DVD is a stunningly beautiful film.”
The director and actors use the bondage theme as a vehicle for erotic play, making ‘Bondage Thoughts’ an erotic art-noir film.
“All my work is crafted as it were to be hung on my own wall,“ he said. “I see the films I shoot as my way of getting the creative side of me out. I love art and I love sex. In this film, the two are combined, and I hope to continue this philosophy with all films I will shoot in the future.”
Despite high-end production values of his films, Kendo is humble about his visionary style.
“There is always a place for something new,” Kendo said. “I have only just begun painting the way I want to paint. I hope the audience for which I paint will understand my vision. When they do, they will want to watch ‘Bondage Thoughts’ again and again.”
“Bondage Thoughts” includes scenes of spanking, hardcore kink inside modern dungeons, latex, rubber and leather intertwined with ropework, gas masks and glass dildos, as well as fetish costumes.
“Bondage Thoughts” hit the streets last week.
