“We saw a need in the marketplace for a system like this,” said Princess Ellisa of MIP Marketing. “It came from requests that came in to our programmers to develop various applications — it’s sort of an amalgamation of those requests.”

CCBTools is designed to make it easy for programs using CCBill tracking to put all of their marketing and ad campaign pieces in a centralized location and to offer affiliates a wide variety of easy-to-manage tools, Ellisa said.

The CCBTools will give programs the ability to conveniently offer embedded Flash videos, a banner manager, picture and video rotating tools (for offering “Picture of the Day” style dynamic content), static hosted galleries, a gallery builder and exporter, downloadable content, RSS feeds, page peels and other promotional applications.

“It’s a plug-in for tools that will allow CCBill-based programs to grow, progress and compete with programs that use systems like NATS or MPA,” Ellisa said. “We’ve found that a lot of programs don’t want to change from CCBill to another backend; they trust CCBill and like CCBill and all they really want is greater flexibility. CCBTools will give them that flexibility.”
