Harmony Films Builds Brand at Adult Entertainment Expo
With a packed schedule from the first day to well past the AVN Award Show's after parties, Harmony Films' Manager of Sales and Marketing Jason Maskell met with buyers and members of the adult press. While the American market is aware of Harmony, Maskell's mission during the four-day trade show was to build the company's brand awareness.
"Evil Angel does a wonderful job of distributing our product in the U.S. and we couldn't be happier with our relationship with them," Maskell said. "But we want the buyers, the press and ultimately the consumers to see Harmony as the global producer of fine X-rated entertainment that it is."
Harmony directors Gazzman and Dave West joined Maskell at a press-only dinner, coordinated by the company's worldwide director of public relations, Wayne Hentai. The event, attended by American and European X-rated press as well as mainstream media outlets, gave the representatives from Harmony a unique opportunity to interact with the writers and bloggers on a one-on-one level.
"This will lead into bigger things for Harmony," Maskell said. "I feel very good about the work that was done in Las Vegas to make Harmony more recognizable in the states. 2008 will be a huge year for us."
