AdultVest, the exclusive licensing agent for FyreTV, has inked the nonexclusive deals with Red Light District, VCX, TeraVision, Combat Zone, Mercenary Pictures, Channel 69 and Critical X.

According to AdultVest, deals with several other major labels currently are in the works for FyreTV's soon-to-be released IPTV service, which soft launches Dec. 15.

The service, which is accessed via a set-top box hooked up through a standard DSL line, features streaming video with no buffering and boasts DVD-quality movies, while also providing the ability to fast-forward and rewind at DVD speeds.

The new FyreTV platform also allows customers to search inside movie titles for specific performers and scenes, as well as create custom playlists and specify favorites, similar to the functionality offered by iTunes.

Because content from the FyreTV system is never downloaded to a computer, studios can be confident that their valuable titles are protected, easing the burden of piracy concerns.

To kick off the launch of a multimillion-dollar national consumer advertising campaign, FyreTV will have its own firefighters on board its big red fire truck parked on the floor of the Adult Entertainment Expo in January.
