According to Steve Tcherchian, President of Linq Entertainment, "For the moment we have offered the service to our international customers, where downloading images onto cell phones is an established and proven market. Europe and Asia will be the main focus. We intend to roll out the service to other sites in the Linq Entertainment portfolio following this launch."
"A key aspect is to ensure that the service feels 'localized' to international customers. So we offer our cell content through Premium SMS billing which is the preferred method in international markets as opposed to credit card," added Tcherchian. "Pricing is presented in local currency not dollars and assets are priced in accordance with local market conditions, a purchase in the United Kingdom will fetch $3 but only a $1 in Eastern Europe. Customers can also track their order on-line from delivery to the charge of their cell phone bill, so the customer is kept fully informed throughout and local language telephone and email customer support is provided in each country."
