XBiz Announces 3rd Annual Awards Ceremony

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Adult news and information portal XBiz announced that its 3rd annual XBiz Adult Industry Awards will be held at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Jan. 5.

On the heels of a successful show last year, which included industry titan Larry Flynt on hand to accept the XBiz Industry Achievement Award, nominees are judged in a wide range of categories for the level of excellence they contribute to the adult industry through their products or services.

This year's nomination process runs through Nov. 29. A panel of industry professionals has been individually selected to be judges and vote for which companies will take home the crystal XBiz trophy.

"In a fast moving business it's great to step back and recognize the industry's achievements during the year, this being the reason for the XBiz Awards," said Alec Helmy, publisher of XBiz.

The XBiz Awards ceremony begins with an 8 p.m. Goldenpass VIP dinner. Doors open at 10:00 p.m. for VIP and general admission, and the award ceremony begins at 10:30 p.m., followed by a party that includes the House of Blues house band.

This year's show honors companies in the following categories: Affiliate Program, Content Provider, Billing Service, Web Host, Design Company, Online Community, GLBT Company, Technology Provider, Innovative Product and WebTV/Radio Show.

The show will also feature ASACP's Annual Service Recognition Award, which is given to a person in appreciation for his or her service to ASACP and dedication to the protection of children on the Internet.

"We anticipate the 2005 XBiz Awards to be the best awards event yet," said Lori Zee, XBiz's director of marketing and business development. "With this being our third year of producing the awards show, we are proud to help honor and recognize all the outstanding companies in this industry . In addition, it is to celebrate everyone's achievement with the awards party following the presentation."

XBiz Awards' sponsors include Jupiter Hosting, NakedSword, PluginFeeds and Pussycash. The Entertainment Sponsor for the Awards Show is Video Secrets.

Last year's winners included Best Affiliate Program, ARS; Best Content Provider, VideoSecrets; Best Billing Service, Epoch Systems; Best Web Host, Webair; Best Design Service, Wylde Sites; Most Innovative Product, StatsRemote; People's Choice, GoFuckYourself.
