Titan Media Sponsors Folsom, Creates New Charity Fund

SAN FRANCISCO — Marking the first time in Folsom Street Fair's 24-year history that an adult studio has contributed at the level of Presenting Level Sponsor, Titan Media has signed a three-year contract to become the exclusive gay adult studio to do just so.

The company also will create a cobranded TitanMen/Folsom hardcore leather/fetish DVD line — proceeds of which will go to nonprofit organizations specializing in gay men's health and education.

"Based on the phenomenal success of last year's first Folsom branded film, 'Folsom Filth,' we are all very excited about extending our partnership with Folsom Street events," Titan Media Vice President Keith Webb told XBIZ. "We intend to make the TitanMen/Folsom brand known throughout the world as the hardest core, cutting-edge and most extreme leather/fetish films ever seen."

Webb said the company hopes to lead by example and influence other adult businesses to be more financially generous with their support of nonprofit, community-based organizations.

"We felt it was important to stand up and put our money where our mouths are," Webb said.

The cobranded TitanMen/Folsom line of hardcore leather/fetish films will be designated the “Exclusive Leather/Fetish Films of the Folsom Street Fair." A portion of sales from will be donated to the newly formed TitanMen/Folsom Fund. Titan Media has guaranteed a minimum yearly contribution of $20,000 to finance the fund.

“We are proud to create this special philanthropic relationship with Titan Media," Demetri Moshoyannis, Executive Director of Folsom Street Events, said. "With this partnership, we hope to raise and distribute more grant money than we have in the past. Last year, Folsom Street Events gave away $301,512 to charity, and I believe we can exceed that amount with the help of Titan Media and our generous sponsors.”

The sponsorship will run for the 2007-2009 Folsom Street Fair and Up Your Alley Fair seasons. TitanMen will headline alongside the two other Presenting Level sponsors, Miller Beer and NakedSword.
