Evil Angel Films Imprint Launches With 'I Am Katrina' Showcase

LOS ANGELES — Evil Angel has launched its high-end Evil Angel Films imprint, with "I Am Katrina," a showcase title first revealed in the exclusive XBIZ announcement about 2017 XBIZ Female Performer of the Year Katrina Jade's historic contract signing, with the 2017 XBIZ Adult Site of the Year.

Helmed by four directors — Jonni Darkko, Aiden Starr, John Stagliano and LeWood — as well as Evil vice president of product Chris Gentile offering documentary support for the biopic hybrid adult film, "I Am Katrina" streets on Oct. 30, and was released Wednesday via VOD on GameLink and HotMovies.

In late July, during an exclusive XBIZ dinner with Evil Angel CFO Adam Grayson, Gentile, Jade and OC Modeling maven Sandra, it was revealed that Jade was not only the first-ever contract star signed by the venerated studio, but would perform all anal scenes solely for them, for six months. The showcase title was also discussed at length.

"Shooting for Evil Angel is different because they let me be myself and don’t tell me what to do during my sex," Jade told XBIZ that evening. "They let me have sex when I want to.” She also expressed enthusiasm about the project, exclaiming, "I've never shot for Aiden or John before! I'm so excited."

Gentile, at the time, added, "...we have a six-month window and there’s lots of exciting stuff we can do," underscoring that they would be using the opportunity "to experiment" with novel approaches to adult content, like a live show and the docu-showcase itself.

"I Am Katrina" is billed as "A Sex Documentary" and features scene pairings such as Jade with Venus Lux (directed by Starr), Stagliano's first "Buttman" scene shot in America in a decade (starring Kissa Sins with Jade), LeWood's very own Francesca Le and Mark Wood with Jade, as well as a Darkko-directed scene featuring Jade with John Strong and Markus Dupree.
