LOS ANGELES — Fetish studio Severe Sex Films is set to release its dark comedy feature, “Corrupted by the Evils of Fetish Porn,” distributed by Exile.

“This is one of the best movies of 2017, everything from the box art to the content is five stars," said Howard Levine of Exile. "Two discs and a ton of content make this a winner from top to bottom."

“Corrupted” follows the adventures of a nerdy film editor in financial trouble (Kasey Warner) who starts editing porn and gets drawn into the fetish scene. “This is probably my most personal movie to date,” said writer/director Dee Severe. “It draws upon a lot of my experiences in transitioning from mainstream indie film to porn, and why that was such a great decision.”

Severe Sex co-owner and executive producer Jimmy Broadway said, “This movie runs three hours, 40 minutes, so you’re getting a lot of authentic fetish action and kinky sex. I was particularly happy with the cast we were able to assemble. Everyone, from our fantastic lead Kasey down to the smallest non-sex roles, nailed their parts. We couldn’t have asked for better performances on all levels — sexually, fetish execution and acting.”

“Corrupted” also stars Chanel Preston, Charlotte Sartre and a large cast of fetish performers including Lance Hart, Cybill Troy, Bella Bathory, Mona Wales, Helena Locke, Pierce Paris, Marcelo, Broadway, D. Arclyte, Hannah Hunt and Valentine.

“Working on 'Corrupted' was a wonderful experience,” said Warner.  “I always enjoy working with Severe Sex Films, and getting to share scenes with so many amazing performers was an absolute pleasure. I hope that all of the BDSM fans enjoy it.”

Severe Sex also recruited notable industry personalities for non-sex roles: Nina Hartley, Aiden Starr, Nate Liquor, Dixie Comet, James Bartholet, Brock Doom and Tarantino XXX .

“I love making BDSM-themed movies that are kind of funny,” noted Severe. “People assume fetish films will have all those '50 Shades' clichés, where everything is dark and extreme. I want to make movies that regular people who want to explore their kinky side can relate to.”

“Corrupted” streets on Sept. 25; the two disc set features numerous extras including behind-the-scenes bloopers and interviews with Warner, Hart and Severe.
