Sweetheart Gets Scandalous With 'The Candidate'

MONTREAL — Sweetheart Video and Mile High Media have announced the release of “The Candidate," which is now available for purchase.

Directed by Dana Vespoli, the all-girl title is described as a “sexy political thriller for the bedroom.”

Sweetheart Video contract star Brandi Love plays a presidential candidate embroiled in scandal. In addition to Love, “The Candidate” stars Julia Ann, Bree Daniels, Casey Calvert, Penny Pax, Uma Jolie, Kira Noir, Lyra Law and Karlie Montana, along with Alec Knight, Vespoli and Brock Doom. “Dana Vespoli really took Sweetheart Video in a different direction with this feature, and we love the end result,” said Jon Blitt, Mile High Media vice president. “Scripted feature films are playing a larger role in our all-girl genre, and this film is a perfect example of what to expect from Sweetheart, its talented directors and the dynamic casting.”

In “The Candidate,” tensions run high as Democratic Senator Jen Hanlon (Love) is poised to become the first woman president of the United States — that is, until a scandal erupts that could potentially destroy her entire political career. Her opponent, Republican Senator Trip Mathis (Knight) will stop at nothing to see Jen fall from grace, unaware that his tactics will bring forth a horrible tragedy.
