Mick Blue Looks Back on 2016 Achievements

LOS ANGELES — Performer/director Mick Blue is looking back on his achievements in 2016, remembering his work for BAM Visions and other companies.

Blue, along with his wife Anikka Albrite and director Maestro Claudio, co-founded BAM Visions in 2015. BAM Visions, distributed by Evil Angel, continued to build its catalogue in 2016 — and its official website, BAMVisions.com, many months in the making, was recently launched.

In addition to his work with BAM Visions last year, Blue worked with studios ranging from 3rd Degree/Zero Tolerance to Vixen.com.

“It was definitely another great year for both me and Anikka and for BAM Visions,” Blue said. “We are all very thankful for the things like great reviews and nominations, but honestly, we put everything we have into this work. And we are happy when they are received so well. It is what we do, what we believe in, and what we have dedicated our lives to. Thanks to everyone who continues to believe in us.”

In 2016, Blue received multiple nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.

The Austrian star is up for Gonzo Release of the Year and Best Sex Scene: Gonzo Release for his work in BAM Visions’ “Mick Loves Anikka.” Blue is nominated for Best Actor: Feature Release for Adam & Eve’s “Babysitting the Baumgartners” and Best Actor: Couples-Themed Release for Adam & Eve’s “Open Couples,” and he is nominated in ten Best Sex Scene categories  — which range from Best Sex Scene: Gonzo Release for Hard X’s “Abella” to Best Sex Scene: All-Sex Release for Vixen.com’s “Natural Beauties” to Best Sex Scene: Virtual Reality for HoloGirlsVR.com’s “Party of Sex.”

Blue is self-booking for film work and can be contacted directly at mickbluebookings@gmail.com.
