Video: 'King Cobra' Trailer Offers Glimpse of Gay Porn Odyssey

LOS ANGELES — The official trailer for the mainstream movie “King Cobra” was released online today.

“King Cobra” is the new indie thriller that documents the actual murder of gay porn producer Bryan Kocis in 2007.

The movie, which has been described as the “Boogie Nights” of gay porn, stars James Franco, Christian Slater, Alicia Silverstone and Molly Ringwald.  

The fast-paced trailer provides a look at Kocis, who broke onto the gay internet porn scene in the mid-2000s and achieved meteoric success after signing Brett Corrigan as talent.

“King Cobra,” distributed by IFC Midnight, opens on-demand and in theaters on Oct. 21.
