XBIZ Announces Berlin Conference Venue

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the show venue for its inaugural XBIZ Berlin webmaster conference.

Presented by TrafficPartner and its family of leading industry brands, XBIZ Berlin will unite the European industry’s movers and shakers with stakeholders from round the world for a completely refreshed slate of educational, networking and social events.

Set for Sept. 11-14, XBIZ Berlin will take place at stylish 4-star The Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel, located on 80-82 Köpenicker Strasse.

Named for its central location in the city’s Mitte district, The Catalonia Berlin Mitte is a short walk from Museum Island and is close to Alexanderplatz and historical Nikoleiviertel, Berlin’s entertainment area that is full of restaurants.

Also around the corner is the notorious KitKatClub, the creation of Austrian pornographer Simon Thaur, along with his life partner Kirsten Krüger. This hip venue mimics the Berliner nightclub in the American musical “Cabaret,” for which it was named — updated with techno and trance music, and allowance of open sexual activity — guaranteeing an entertaining time for XBIZ Berlin attendees.

Located near the Heinrich Heine Metro Station (U8, two stops to Alexanderplatz), The Catalonia offers a unique lifestyle charm recreating the essence of Berlin with its industrial style, raw walls and graffiti by well-known Berlin artists. The hotel features spacious and bright rooms with Smart TVs and other cutting-edge amenities.

A breakfast buffet is included, as is free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property.

A cocktail bar and the Kunstwerk Restaurant make dining and entertainment easy, while the courtyard provides the perfect setting for those who wish to network in an outdoor setting, and will serve as ground zero for XBIZ Berlin.

Limited rooms are currently available at just €109 per night ($123 U.S.), which includes breakfast, plus VAT and applicable service charges.

“XBIZ Berlin marks our first event in this historic and highly affordable metropolitan city,” XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy said. “We worked diligently to find a venue that offers the perfect setting for mixing business and pleasure, combined with high affordability, ease of access, style and an overall professional atmosphere that our attendees have come to expect — and The Catalonia Berlin Mitte is a winner.”

Stay tuned to XBIZ for upcoming details about XBIZ Berlin, including special event announcements, show schedule and guest speakers.
