Mona Wales Signs as a Series Producer for Grooby

LOS ANGELES — Trans erotica producer Grooby has announced an upcoming DVD series helmed by Mona Wales and shot by videographer Ajaporn in San Francisco.

“I am utterly fucking thrilled and elated to be partnering with Grooby for my first DVD release,” Wales said. “We are going to make beautiful filth together. I have an incredible cast of smart, hot and talented women involved in this project. My favorite part about this first DVD is that all the concepts for the scenes are pulled from the real lives of the performers.

"I am honored by the opportunity to assist in bringing a super filthy, diverse and authentic representation of these women's sexuality to the market," she continued. "The whole thing is a dream come true!”

Grooby owner Steven Grooby said, “Sometimes the stars align just right. Mona had just appeared in a Buddy Wood scene for us when I bumped into her in Barcelona where she was shooting for Kink. Mona has great enthusiasm and ideas for trans porn and as we'd just inked a new DVD distribution deal with Exquisite as well as starting our new 'girl only' website, Tgirls.porn, it seemed a perfect fit to have Mona shoot a series for us.

"This is our 20th year in production and working with Mona Wales is a perfect way to kick it off," Grooby added. "I'm looking forward to see what we can do together.”

Founded in 1996, Grooby is currently based in Los Angeles and operates more than 30 membership websites. The company has numerous DVD lines now distributed through Exquisite and operates the GroobyNetwork.com, which gives models an opportunity to own and manage their own solo site. They are also the host of the annual Transgender Erotica Awards. For more information, visit Grooby.com and TheTEAShow.com.
