Kirsty Hill Appearing in Penn Jillette Film
CULVER CITY, Calif. — Performer Kirsty Hill, nee Sophie Dee, is appearing in "Director's Cut", a new comedy-horror film from director Adam Rifkin and Penn Jillette (Penn & Teller).
Hill plays Summer in the film's opening sequence and is seen alongside Jillette, Missi Pyle (“Gone Girl”), Harry Hamlin (“Mad Men”), Nestor Carbonell (“The Dark Knight”) and Lin Shaye (“There's Something About Mary").
The producers said that the movie, which was made on a $1.1 million budget thanks to the filmmakers' crowdfunding efforts via FundAnything.com, is officially launching the 2016 Slamdance Film Festival on Jan. 22 in Park City, Utah.
"I'm very proud to be in this movie, and very excited that it has been selected to open Slamdance," Hill said. "It's a wild movie that I think will blow people's minds."
Hill has recently appeared in Sony Pictures’ “The Hungover Games”, Danny Glover’s “Bad Asses” and Marlon Wayans’ “A Haunted House 2,” and has four more films set for release later in 2016.
In "Director's Cut", Jillette — who also wrote and produced the film — plays a stalker who kidnaps his favorite movie actress (Pyle) and forces her to star in his movie.
