Publicity Mounts Over ‘Revenge of the Petites’ Shoot

LOS ANGELES — ATKingdom keeps on riding a wave of publicity after it was disclosed earlier this month that it filmed “Revenge of the Petites” at a Los Angeles high school.

NBC4 earlier disclosed that the adult studio paid cash for a filming permit at Hamilton High School, where filming took place on two consecutive Saturdays in October 2011.

A subsequent investigation by Los Angeles Unified School District’s superintendent led to a ban on commercial filming at all district schools in light of NBC4's six-month investigation into the "hidden costs" of filming in the city's schools.

Hamilton High officials said they were misled about the film's illicit nature and would not have granted permission for the filming if they had known the shoot was pornographic.

However, news of the shoot has continued on with NBC4's ongoing investigation.

Today, NBC4 reported that three then-Hamilton High students who viewed a sudsy carwash scene in front of the school were later invited to the “Revenge of the Petites” movie premiere after they figured things out and approached cast and production crew.

“We were told it was a commercial,” one of the former Hami High students said. “Definitely turned out not to be a commercial.”

At the movie's premiere, NBC4 said, the three men posed with adult stars Dani Daniels, Skin Diamond and Riley Reid on the red carpet.

ATKingdom spokeswoman Melissa Campos told XBIZ that the publicity has meant an uptick in sales for the 2012 film “Revenge of the Petites.”

“We have seen a rise in orders since it hit, just slightly, but as this grows we might see more,” she said last week prior to today’s news report.

Campos, who has kept track of the news reports over the brouhaha, said that numerous dispatches have been published in the mainstream media worldwide, including with The Daily Mail, Maxim, L.A. Times, The Telegraph, Variety, Huffington Post, Jezebel and N.Y. Daily News, among others.
