LOS ANGELES — CalExotics says it stole the show at Erofame with new products, marketing material and a packed booth.
“EroFame was a complete success for us with business and fun all mixed together. We spent our days meeting with customers and showing everything CalExotics has to offer, while the nights were spent with friends enjoying our time together. This was a great event, we can’t wait for next year,” says Susan Colvin, founder and CEO of CalExotics.
The CalExotics booth showcased new and best-selling products, including Silhouette, a collection of body-forming massagers made of premium silicone that are USB rechargeable and waterproof. Five new Silhouette styles massagers were revealed, including a remote controlled stimulator and a bendable stimulator.
A completely new collection of kits and pumps were also displayed during the show. His, Hers and Ours Kits feature complementary products designed to create a fun and unique experience. Pumps is a cohesive assortment of male pumping products divided into categories to simplify shopping and merchandising. Pillars throughout the booth were also focal point for attendees to look, touch and feel popular products from collections including Kiss, Impress, Embrace, Entice and Entice Accessories.
The CalExotics Institute, an e-learning platform aimed at retailers, was also on display allowing attendees to get an in-depth look at the free educational tool. Representatives from the company took attendees through sample courses, showing the user interface along with test and certificate examples.

To top off the event, Susan Colvin, CalExotics founder and CEO, was honored with awards, including Life’s Work in the Industry from Sign Magazine, and Business Woman of the Year from EAN.
“I am so incredibly honored to receive these awards,” Colvin said. “Over the past 20 years my team and I have worked tirelessly to advance the sexual health and wellness category, introducing products that enhance the lives of men, women and couples. Colvin has received the Business Woman of the Year award for four consecutive years.
“To win once is a huge honor, to win four times in a row, I am completely speechless,” says Colvin.
Colvin is credited with revolutionizing the adult industry for more than 20 years, being among the first to create products in feminine colors like pink and purple, marketing the Original Jack Rabbit, having all products conform to the E.U. directives and creating a remote controlled vibrator among other accomplishments.
According to the company, Colvin is hands-on with her team and is involved in all aspects of the business in order to ensure that products that bear the CalExotics logo are manufactured with the finest materials and to the highest standard of quality. Colvin also personally sees many of her clients, traveling across the globe.
