Do Churchgoers Like Porn? Not on Sunday, According to Adult Empire

PITTSBURGH — A recent infographic released by Adult Empire reveals that Sunday is the company’s slowest sales day, causing conjecture over whether church attendance plays a role in the equation.

According to Adult Empire’s Director of Marketing, Megan Wozniak, although millions of people watch porn every second of every single day, statistics kept by online adult retail and entertainment website Adult Empire reveal that its sales figures show a significant drop on Sunday, the week’s official Day of Rest.

Wozniak explains that Adult Empire recently noted that not only do page visits go down on Sunday, to account for 6.58 percent of Adult Empire’s total traffic, as opposed to Saturday’s 19.91 percent share, but revenue for its DVD purchases and PPV viewership also drops.

Wednesday, a.k.a. “Hump Day” sees the most visits to Adult Empire, generating 20.52 percent of the site’s weekly revenue — with Sunday lagging far behind, generating 5.29 percent of the week’s sales.

“We don’t know if our customers are taking the day of rest literally or if they’re spending more time in church, but without a doubt, we here at AdultEmpire.com get the least action on Sunday,” Wozniak said. “We do so well on Wednesday and Saturday, [but then] it gets quiet on Sunday and then it’s back to big business on Monday!”

“Adult Empire’s business has taken great strides in the industry with the increasing demand for XXX over the past 17 years, giving its customers the very best in movies, novelties and toys,” Wozniak concludes. “With [more than] 150,000 streaming porn scenes and 30,000 streaming full length movies, alongside its new production company, YouTube channel and media reporting, Adult Empire is now a full-service force in the industry.”
