Bartholet Costars in ‘Barbarella XXX,’ ‘This Ain't Modern Family XXX’

LOS ANGELES — James Bartholet is costarring in two of the biggest parody releases so far this year — “Barbarella XXX” for Axel Braun's new Wicked Comix label and “This Ain't Modern Family XXX” for Hustler Video.

“These were two great movies to work on, the cast and crew from each movie were so fun to work with,” said Bartholet, who, in addition to acting and performing, also hosts the weekly radio program “Inside The Industry” on Wednesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m. on LATalkRadio.com

In “Barbarella XXX,” Bartholet portrays mad scientist Duran Duran and costars alongside the beautiful and talented Axel Braun Productions contract star Riley Steele and Wicked contract star Asa Akira.

The film also stars Evan Stone, Alex Knight, Eric Masterson, Kurt Lockwood, Tera Patrick, Chanel Heart and Ron Jeremy.

“James was my first and only choice for the role of Duran Duran, and he delivered a hilarious, career-defining performance. His acting range is exceptional, and he's appeared in so many of my projects that by now he has kinda become my lucky charm. In Barbarella XXX he proves exactly why,” director Axel Braun said.

In “This Ain't Modern Family XXX,” Bartholet portrays the popular character of Cameron.

Bartholet costars alongside Luna Star, Ryan McLane, Britney Amber, Dick Chibbles, Richie Calhoun, Cassidy Banks and Tommy Gunn.

The movie, which streets this month, is directed by Andre Madness.

“I always love working with James, and he delivers another top notch and memorable performance in this movie,” director Andre Madness said.
