ASACP Sets its Sights on Sitges and The European Summit

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its return participation in The European Summit (TES).

According to its promoter, The European Summit is Europe’s leading B2B conference for the online entertainment industries. Set for March 7-10 at the Hotel Calipolis in Barcelona, Spain, this executive gathering unites representatives from the online affiliate, billing, casual dating, domain name, mobile technology, website services and traffic arenas, with a European focus.

A gathering of adult entertainment industry professionals, TES fuels discussions of essential topics such as the need to protect children online; providing a venue where attendees can learn about the benefits and services offered by ASACP.

“We can’t stress the fact enough that it is important to protect children online,” TES’ principal Andreas Bischoff stated. “A truly remarkable team of individuals, ASACP should constantly receive support from our entire industry.”

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning and Director of European Outreach Vince Charlton will be in attendance at the event.

Thanks to the show’s promoters, ASACP will have a display table where information about the association will be available, along with prime banner placement to help raise awareness of ASACP. The show’s promoters have also generously underwritten Henning and Charlton’s travel expenses by providing the pair with free show admission, as well as a complimentary hotel room in Barcelona.

“Every year, TES has shown generous support for ASACP and its mission of keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment, for which we are grateful,” Henning stated. “TES helps the association educate online companies about its Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label and Child Exploitation Reporting Hotline. These initiatives are only possible through the continued support of the legitimate adult entertainment industry.”

“With ongoing changes in European Internet policy, it is vital for ASACP to reach European mobile and website operators, to share information, strategies and solutions,” Charlton adds. “These companies are on the frontline of today’s evolving Internet, and can benefit by having a win-win partnership with the association.”
