Selfie Website KandidMag.com Debuts

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — A selfie-exclusive glamor website, KandidMag.com has debuted.

The company said that by taking advantage of social media it can monetize the modern day Polaroid by featuring women in their intimate, natural surroundings. No photographers, no filters, and no Photoshop are allowed; models who submit the images themselves are instructed to send in the sensuality captured from their smartphone cameras.

The idea is the brainchild of Jocelyn Binder, a former Wilhelmina and Playboy model. “In the Instagram era where selfies have become vehicles to notoriety Kandid Magazine goes a step further by providing viewers those personal photos that models would send to their lovers,” Binder said. “Kandid  represents a fresh approach to modern photography and expressionism.”

The site features sets of Kennedy Summers (Playmate of the Year 2014), Tami Donaldson (former Miss Maxim USA), Irina Voronina (former Playmate), Leilani Dowdling (former Miss Great Britain and reality television personality), and Binder herself.

In a separate area, visitors will be able to purchase explicit selfie collections offered by select models. Once purchased, each set will exclusively belong to the individual buyer and any evidence of the offer will be excised from the site permanently. The site is free with new content promised daily. Visitors can also subscribe for updates and additional editorials.

“We’re very excited to capture female beauty that exudes from a relaxed, personal moment,” Binder added. “The art of Kandid Magazine moves past the confines and censorship of social media by revealing the most fascinating, beautiful women in their world.”
