VAN NUYS, Calif. — Trouble Films streeted “Doing It Again” today, giving fans of the indie studio something new to add to their queer content archives.
The first volume in the series offers an exploration of trans women's relationship and hookup dynamics. It weaves together explicit scenes and interview footage from a diverse range of trans women and their partners to paint a holistic portrait about trans women's sexuality.
Directed by Tobi Hill-Meyer, the film features unique stories focusing on trans women and their trans partners, from those who’ve just met, to those who’ve been together over two decades.
“Doing It Again” stars Chelsea, Juicy, Mo., Hayley Fingersmith, Drew Deveaux, Azure Monro, Lilith von Fraumench and Violette DeVille.
"Tobi [Hill-Meyer] is a friend, a mentor and a damn good filmmaker," Trouble Films founder Courtney Trouble said. “I'm really proud that I am able to showcase the incredible directors in the queer porn movement through a mainstream channel like Pure Play. We have been working hard as a team to make sure Tobi's personal and political depiction of trans women gets seen on a large scale. These films deserve a mainstream audience."
“Trouble Films gives our customers direct access to some of the best and most respected LGBT content in the industry,” Pure Play Media sales representative Mike L. said. “’Doing It Again’ is a perfect example of Courtney Trouble’s dedication to intricate detail, painting an enticingly clear picture of trans women’s sexuality.”
