Penthouse Debuts 3 Branded Websites Ahead of 50th Anniversary

LOS ANGELES — Penthouse announced the launch of three new websites to support the expansion of its iconic men’s lifestyle brand: PenthouseClubs.com, PenthouseLicensing.com and PenthousePopShots.com

PenthouseClubs.com is a comprehensive guide to its 16 adult nightclubs worldwide (with two new clubs coming to Atlanta and Chicago in 2015).

PenthouseLicensing.com offers businesses the opportunity to license and be a part of one of the highly recognizable brand, while Penthouse Pop Shots shares striking erotic images of women shot by an eclectic mix of artists, including Dave Navarro, Nikko Hurtado and Michael K. Williams.

Penthouse, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2015, was founded in England by Bob Guccione in 1965 and brought to the States in 1969.

The first issue of American Penthouse sold out in a matter of days: England’s controversial magazine filled with attractive women, intelligent journalism and intimate revelations had arrived.

The covers of Penthouse Magazine include celebrities and art-inspired photography, which chronicle the libido of a changing nation and the pop culture which helped shape it.

A rep explains, “[Penthouse was] made famous worldwide for its fearless approach to sexuality and its unabashed support of those rebelling from the norm and defining their own identity.”
