Sexify Offers Adult Social Shopping Network

LONDON — U.K.-based adult shopping company Sexify has introduced Sexify.life, which it calls “the world’s first adults-only social shopping platform.”

The site resides on the new .life TLD, and according to the company, since its launch in early September, the site is already enjoying thousands of members, all interacting, sharing and purchasing adult products.

CEO and founder Rich Nelson says that he is thrilled to bring Sexify to market and to show off the wide diversity of products available through the site.

“We’re bringing all of the items the adult entertainment and pleasure products industries have to offer in one place,” Nelson explains. “We’re then allowing our members to share their favorite items with their social networks and by doing this creating a single destination for global consumers to merge their adult shopping and networking needs.”

On Sexify.life, members set up a profile before uploading images or links to products they enjoy. Members can then “love,” or mark as owned, all products shared by others, which they then organize into their own curated lists. All items then have the ability to be shared on members’ social networks, spreading the word beyond the Sexify site to friends and lovers via Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and more.

In addition, members have the ability to follow and share other members’ lists, as well as those of popular members, dubbed “Sexifiers.” The Sexifiers list includes a rising number of adult industry stars, all sharing their favorite products, as well as those with which they are affiliated.

Nelson says that Sexify currently offers 14 categories of products, ranging from male and female intimate wearables to sex toys, sexual aids and enhancers, bondage gear and toys, condoms, lube, erotica, and adult party games. The site also features recommended links to webcam sites, dating and hookup sites, and top-rated films by the adult industry’s biggest players. All products are available for shipping globally.

“We have found Sexify to be an extremely beneficial portal for manufacturers, production companies, and models promoting their products,” Nelson says. “When fans and performers share their favorite items through Sexify, they take on the role of brand ambassador.”

“This has the double benefit both through the added exposure it gives the product but also by allowing valuable feedback to be captured in the form of user comments,” he added. “It truly is a new way to market, and we’re very pleased to partner with the companies we have on our site.”

With a tagline of “Search it, Add it, Share it, Buy it,” Sexify is taking an innovative approach to adult product marketing and is seeking other forward-looking companies interested in offering their products on the site.
