CHATSWORTH, Calif. — A team of FBI agents conducting 2257 records inspections visited the offices of K-Beech Inc. yesterday, XBIZ has confirmed.

According to K-Beech owner Kevin Beechum, “Eight feds came in around 9 a.m. and stayed until 11 a.m. They came to inspect 10 titles from Erotic Angel — a company that is now out of business. We had all the paperwork. I felt no stress and no pressure. The FBI informed us we had everything.”

Beechum said the FBI informed him it had randomly selected 10 titles to be inspected.

“The FBI did their homework because they took a screenshot of a girls face off of a movie that we had and we had to match it with our ID records,” Beechum said.

K-Beech produces 15 different studio lines including 818 XXX Productions, Baby Doll Pictures, Backend Productions and Cherry Boxxx Pictures, among others. The company has more than 3,000 titles in its library that comprise a wide spectrum of niches that includes straight, gay, amateur, gonzo, hardcore and features.

Beechum said the FBI verbally informed him that his records “looked good” and that the company had “passed” the inspection.

“We had one title though that we bought from Thomas Payne,” Beechum said. “He didn’t put the 2257 warning screen on the master, so [the FBI] asked for the purchasing contract for that movie.”

K-Beech has been in business for 25 years.

The other companies that have been subject to 2257 records inspections are Pure Play Media, Evasive Angles, Darkside Entertainment, Legend, Sunshine Films, Robert Hill Releasing, Sebastian Sloane Productions and Diabolic. The FBI’s inspection of Bethlehem, Pa.-based Sebastian Sloane Productions was prompted by an unrelated search warrant.
