Buddy Profits Launches New Affiliate Site

MONTREAL — Buddy Profits has announced the beta launch of its new and improved affiliate site, dubbed "Buddy Profits 2.0."

The release of the new site follows almost a year of market research, strategic planning, and product development from the team in Montreal to update the existing platform to better meet the needs of affiliates.

“Internally this past year we’ve put a lot of focus on how the business has been run and where we need to be today in order to remain the leader in the gay adult marketplace,” said Hector Camacho, managing director of Buddy Profits. “The Buddy Profits affiliate program is coming on its eighth year anniversary and today’s marketplace is more diverse than ever before — so we rebuilt our affiliate program’s infrastructure, improved the user experience and the most-used tools and established a product road map for some exciting new tools that will be rolled out in the upcoming months."

The main goal of Buddy Profits 2.0 was to make the affiliate program as user-friendly and intuitive as possible. The site now includes a visual display of top stats including graphs to show unique hits and signups, plus a pie-chart to show the top performing sites for each affiliate.

“We really put ourselves in the affiliate’s shoes when we designed the new dashboard,” said Ewan French, Buddy Profits’ affiliate manager. “One of the things I have been asked over and over is to make the stats system easier to navigate. Affiliates want to see how their efforts are paying off, which sites are performing for their traffic and how much revenue they are earning from the program. The new charts and graphs make the stats really come to life visually and are an improvement our affiliates are really going to appreciate!”

Another major improvement has been on the usability of the promotional tools available to affiliates. The new site continues to offer all the main marketing tools but in a simplified, intuitive interface and with new functionality such as CSV exports, improved filtering and more.

“With 42 websites in our network and multiple daily updates we have a lot of content to promote which can be a bit overwhelming,” French said. ”We redesigned the layout for our promo tools to be easier for affiliates to use and to find exactly what they want to promote.”

Camacho concluded, “At the end, it is the special relationship with our studio partners and each affiliate that makes Buddy Profits so strong and unique. We’re bringing back our old tagline of ‘Who’s Your Buddy’, we’re the guys who provide service with a smile, go above and beyond, we’re just the guys next door…we’re your buddy and welcome any feedback on the new site.”

The release of Buddy Profits 2.0 also includes the generation of linking codes for scenes featured on NextDoorWorld.com and 1GayPass.com as well offering tube-style tours for the major sites within the program.
