Belle Knox Embarks on PornHub Internship

NEW YORK — With school out for the summer, Duke University student/porn star Belle Knox will be heading to Canada this week as part of her PornHub internship to spend quality time at the office and learn about the inner-workings of the adult industry trade.

“This will be my first time ever in Canada and after interning for them from afar with writing blogs it will be super exciting to meet the Pornhub staff and soak up the knowledge hands on,” Knox said.

Knox was contracted to be PornHub’s summer intern for May, June, July and August. She will meet with PornHub’s social media team, marketing team, public relations team and design team to gain an insider perspective, the company said.

“Primarily tasks are being involved socially through Twitter, Instagram and Vine, writing blogs for Peeperz.com, and being involved in the Pornhub community,” PornHub’s PR and Marketing Manager Matt Blake said. “We hope that by the end of this people will see the real girl behind Belle Knox, and that there’s so much more to her than just a girl who shoots porn.”

Eighteen-year-old Knox made national headline news after being outed as a porn star by a fellow classmate and writing a piece inspired by the experience for online pop-feminist magazine XOJane.com.

Since then she has appeared on shows such as “The View,” “The Independents,” “Dr. Drew,” “Piers Morgan” and “The Howard Stern Show.” She has also been written about in The Huffington Post, The NY Post, The Daily News, The NY Times, Rolling Stone Magazine and most recently was featured in the June 2014 issue of Penthouse.
